At Tabnxt, we believe that your browser history is personal. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring you have complete control over your workspace data. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the security measures we employ to keep your data safe.

1. Information We Collect

To provide tab management, session saving, and workspace organization, Tabnxt processes the following types of information:

• Browser Session & Workspace Data: To enable synchronization and cross-device backups, Tabnxt saves your custom workspaces, bookmarks, and saved tab session details (including webpage titles, URLs, and icons) to our secure cloud database for registered accounts.
• AI Categorization Metrics: When using the AI Tab Grouping feature, Tabnxt's local parser processes tab titles and URLs to determine relevant groupings. This classification is performed entirely on your machine.
• Account & Billing Info: If you sign up for Tabnxt Pro, we collect your email address via Google authentication. All payments are processed securely by Dodo Payments, and we do not store your credit card details on our servers.
• Usage Diagnostics & Telemetry: We collect basic, anonymous telemetry (such as your browser, operating system, country, and the referral source you arrived from) to troubleshoot issues, optimize layout performance, and measure the effectiveness of our marketing channels. We do not inspect or sell this data.
• User Feedback Reviews: When you submit rating feedback inside the extension, we collect your email address, rating score, and optional descriptive text to troubleshoot issues and improve usability.

2. How Data is Handled and Shared

We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal information or browsing history with third parties. Your data is handled according to your subscription tier:

• Free Tier: All saved workspaces, sessions, and settings are stored locally on your device using Chrome's secure storage API, and synced to our databases for backup when signed in. This data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
• Pro Tier (Cloud Sync & Teams): Saved workspaces, team rooms, shared links, and synced bookmarks are transmitted to our secure servers to enable multi-device restore and team collaboration. We enforce strict data access controls, and all stored data is encrypted in transit (using TLS) and at rest.

3. Data Deletion and Account Rights

You have full control over your saved sessions. You can delete individual workspaces, clear your entire history, or wipe the local database at any time using the Settings menu inside the Tabnxt extension. If you wish to delete your Pro account and remove all synced data from our servers, you can click "Delete Account" in the Dashboard, or email us at support@tabnxt.space.

4. Updates to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our service or regulatory updates. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the effective date.
